About The Beta Chapter
After the founding of the Alpha Chapter in 1913, the men of Alpha Epsilon Pi moved ahead with what had been their goal from the outset: to found a national fraternity. With that interest in mind, the brothers made contact with a group of men at Cornell University who had formed a local fraternity by the name of Phi Tau. The two groups met, and in 1917 the Beta Chapter was founded, cementing Alpha Epsilon Pi as a national fraternity. To this day, the Alpha Epsilon Pi remains at the fore of fraternity life across the nation and around the world.
